The data below are available in .zip format for quicker, easier download. The zip files either contain files for a shapefile or an aerial photograph. The shapefile zip files contain the following files a .dbf, .met, .sbn, .sbx, .shp, .shx, .htm. The aerial photograph zip files contain the following files: .sid, .sdw. .met, and .htm. There is a readme file at the root of the data directory that explains the data structure.

Note: The shapefiles contained on this CD-ROM (p_rico.shp, stc_fin.shp, and stsj_fin.shp) are not projected, that is, they are in the geographic coordinate system (decimal degrees, NAD83). The aerial photo mosaics are projected into the Universal Transverse Mercator System (UTM Zone 20 for the U.S. Virgin Islands and UTM Zone 19 for Puerto Rico, NAD83, meters). As a result, to overlay these files in ArcView®, the user needs to set the Projection parameters in the View Properties dialog box to 'UTM Zone N'. Alternatively, the user can project the geographic files to UTM.
